Manchester.
A city where I hold some of my dearest memories of my time at university.
Since then time has moved on and I became an adult by buying my own food and paying taxes.
Well enough of my nostalgia.

Hong Kong, You hold a big part of my childhood.
The place where I took my first steps as a baby.
The home of most of my close family.
I can be anywhere around the world and just no place compares to you.
The affordable food and the not so affordable housing.
The strong Neon Lights.
The Traditional clashing with the hyper futuristic.
The most furthest east with the far far west.
All combines to this beautiful. dramatic city that is named Hong Kong. (place of fragrance) although I must say sometimes I catch a whiff of stinky Tofu on the street and I can not help than to wish that my sense of smell wouldn’t be so good.
Takashi is the only Japanese chefs that holds a Michelin star in Ireland. His establishment so far is also unique to Ireland since it’s a non traditional Kaiseki, fusing the best of Japanese techniques and Irish ingredients.
I’ve been one of the lucky individuals that was able to grab a spot at Ichigo Ichi - for the 4th time.
Honestly. some of the best food I’ve ever had in my life.
Takashi really liked my own profile picture so he asked me if I could shoot one like that for him. Those will be used in Magazines, Poster, Instagram, Website etc.

This Photoshoot was planned this year in February but only recently was able to finish the shoot.
Stephen always has creative ideas and wanted the shoot to be at night since he enjoys the aesthetics of contrast and shadows. As some of you may know the shop looks like a Gentleman’s Club with a Barber build-in which compliments the over all aesthetics of the pictures.
I discovered this space just a week after he opened up shop in cork.
From the first time having my Haircut there, I knew it would be the place I always wanted to go back to.
The atmosphere , vibe and service is next to no other in town. You feel immersed and separated from the stress of the outside world and it seems to be a save space where men can talk and enjoy each others company.

The past weekend I went to shoot another part of Marcus’s Music Video which is kinda overdue. We are currently figuring out some logistical issues due the singer of the song being located in Dublin.
After shooting the scenes in the forest we went ahead to take some portrait shots to grow his Portfolio.
Here are some of them:
As you can tell from the color pallet I draw from most of the year.
My favourite seasons is simply Autumn.
Who doesn’t enjoy the deep earthy greens and browns.
I shot all the pictures from this set with the Sony A7III and the Zeiss 55mm F1.8.
The glass is sharp to a point where it’s actually overly sharp showing too much detail.
You wonder how this can be an issue.Well, It’s simple. Skin texture is one of the most important things you want to capture in portraits. Unfortunately, most of us are not blessed with flawless skin and the sharper a lens is the more of those unwanted details show.
I simply pulled back the sharpness within Capture One 12 with a mask.
There you go.
Jazz Weekend is one of my favourite weekends in Cork. The music and atmosphere is around every corner and you can not escape the sound of roaring trumpets and booming drums with a combination of people singing along to the songs while parading through the streets of Cork.
Also, popped into a popup-shop of the Coffee Roaster @Westcorkcoffee in an arts and stationary store called @badlymadebooks. It was lovely meeting the owner Sean who also introduced me to the art of printing and making books. His work and reflects his humour and creativity.
