The past weekend I went to shoot another part of Marcus’s Music Video which is kinda overdue. We are currently figuring out some logistical issues due the singer of the song being located in Dublin.

After shooting the scenes in the forest we went ahead to take some portrait shots to grow his Portfolio.

As you can tell from the color pallet I draw from most of the year.
My favourite seasons is simply Autumn.
Who doesn’t enjoy the deep earthy greens and browns.
I shot all the pictures from this set with the Sony A7III and the Zeiss 55mm F1.8.
The glass is sharp to a point where it’s actually overly sharp showing too much detail.
You wonder how this can be an issue.Well, It’s simple. Skin texture is one of the most important things you want to capture in portraits. Unfortunately, most of us are not blessed with flawless skin and the sharper a lens is the more of those unwanted details show.
I simply pulled back the sharpness within Capture One 12 with a mask.
